 Significance of Flower Flower are associated with mankind from the dawn of civilization. It is said that man is born with flowers lives with flowers and finally die with flowers. The arrival of new born is rejoiced with flower, the sick are wished speedy recovery by offering flowers while the dead are bidden farewell with flowers along with tears of sorrow. Flowers are used for various purpose in our life like worshiping, religious and social function like weeding, interior decoration and self-adornment. Floral ornaments, bouquets etc are used in social gatherings, birthdays, welcoming relatives and honouring dignity. Flowers are used to extract oils and scents. Despite flower maintain good scenery, it gives fresh air and cools the surrounding. Different types of flower are used as a curative and preventive treatment for different types of diseases and ailments. Eg Aloe vera for burning, Datura for anaesthesia, Neem for skin diseases. Etc.
