Nepal is a mountainous country where we can see the wonders of nature. It is blessed with the best form of ecosystems that include forest, wetlands, grasslands. But with the increasing population and demand of the people, these natural resources have been exploited to the maximum level. So, in order to inject the sense of responsibilities and belonginess towards a nature, every year 1 one week  long conservation program on wildlife conservation is conducted which acts like a catalytic role in creating awareness about the significance of the wildlife conservation.For this all the green groups of Institute of Forestry ,Pokhara , Nepal  come together and collaborate  to celebrate this conservation festivals which is scheduled on every first week of New month, Baisakh  in Nepali calendar. A series of program like tree tagging,  conservation themed community teaching, essay, poem and drawing competition, conservation rally , flash mobs, quiz competition, site visit etc are conducted to embark a importance of wildlife and nature conservation.

This wildlife week celebration aware and sensitize the local people, academic practicetioner , stakeholders and all conservation enthusiastic head to value all the wild animals and stop all the illegal activities that deteriotes their living quality.  It also further encourages people to actively surrender themselves to give their heart and soul for conservation of wildlife.

As a part of Wildlife week 2019 organizing team, I was handed over the responsibility of constructing temporary museum .So, I designed a small temporary museum with a theme to aware  people  for conservation through art. For this , First of all I formed a working committee of nearly 10 students from Institute of Forestry Pokhara.  then  we worked our best to bring out the conservation ethics through art and giving more powers to 3R concept i.e Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. We have also painted the art of different conservation significant wildlife on stones. We also made different animals like peacock, owl, snakes and also the photo-booth  made out of waste papers and cartoons.To acknowledge the resource person in the program , we designed the token of love made out of waste material and handed over them. I have always believed that little things can always make a big difference if we work hard and consistently on them.  So, Coordinating the wildlife museum was a phenomenal experiences for a life time and I am very glad to be a part of this conservation program.
