World Snake Day

If someone ask me what is your biggest far I could reply SNAKE.  Snake are elongated, legless, carnivorous reptiles of order Serpentes. Out of 35,000 species of snake around world,only 600 are venomous .It is important part of ecosystem which are mostly  either secondary or tertiary consumer.  But ,most of people are unaware about ecological benefits of snake and are killing it in the fear of bit. But ,destroying any creature of ecosystem is never a solution of any fear. Nowadays ,many environment conservationist  has been working for the rescue of Snake .In Nepal,Youth like Rohit Giri has been rescuing snake .According to source,he has already rescue 70+ snakes in this lock down period too.

 

16th of July is celebrate as World Snake Day.This day is celebrated to aware people about importance of snake and why it should be preserved.On World snake day lets shed our fears and myths and try to understand this species better.It does not men that we shouldn't be afraid of snake and get bitten ,but it mean don¡¯t harm any creature of the environment instead love them they will love us in return and help in ecological balance.
