Free Report - Climate Change

by Sainath Manikandan | 09-07-2020 17:42

We can see and also hear from scientists that the temperature are now rising at a very faster rate. This raise in temperature is linked to the greenhouse effect. This effect actually describes how the earth¡¯s atmosphere traps some of the sun¡¯s energy.

I hope all of you will agree with me if I state that the defining issue of our time is climate change. There are a lot of changes such as rise in sea levels, lots of shifts in the weather patterns, risk of flooding, storms¡¦

The greenhouse gases are carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide. When we burn fossil fuels, most of the carbon dioxide emissions occur. Trees absorb the carbon dioxide but when we cut down them these carbons are released into the atmosphere which then contributes to global warming.

The increase in number of industries leads to the emissions of harmful gases more into our environment. There has been a drastic increase in CO2 levels.

The heat or solar energy radiates from the earth¡¯s surface back to the space. Then it is absorbed by the greenhouse gases and again re-emitted back to our earth from all directions.

The sea level is increasing year by year across the globe. This is due to the fact that water increases in volume as it heats up. As the ice melts the sea level increases. We can find more information from the satellite records. As per that record, there is a drastic decline in Artic sea ice; West Antarctic ice sheet is losing mass and East Antarctica have also started to loss mass.

Land animals and crop production is also getting effected due to the change in climate. Some of the changes that is occurring are that the flowers are starting to flower earlier and earlier fruiting time.
