Dangerous But Worth It - (Free Report)

by Justice Obiri | 06-07-2020 13:16

The norm of the day has definitely got something to do with Covid-19 of late. Even going out to earn a living is now a big problem. There are so many protocols and safety measures one has to obey before he or she can go out. That notwithstanding, lockdowns are being eased all around the world and life is gradually spinning back on track.

The easing of restrictions however has brought its own merits and demerits. Provably, some countries are being hit hard after the easing of restrictions. Cases of Covid-19 are still surging up and up each and every day.

For a country like Ghana, I personally was against it when the government eased restrictions because our cases were below hundred at that time. Ghana was the first country to lift restrictions on lockdowns in the world. We went for just three weeks and the lockdown was lifted. As at that time, we had less than hundred (100) cases but after the lockdown was lifted, we have close to twenty thousand (20,000) cases now with over one hundred and ten (110) deaths as well as over fourteen thousand (14,000) recoveries which is subject to increase further more since our infection count per day is currently at 750. Meaning averagely, it is expected that 750 people could possibly be confirmed after test to have contracted the Covid-19 daily.

Someway, somehow, somebody has to be out there to talk to the people about safety precautions to be taken. This is because, if all the safety protocols are being strictly adhered to, our case count wouldn¡¯t be that high per day. That is when I come in. I personally took an OpenWHO course on Covid-19 purposely to volunteer when the need arises. I got a lot resources from www.who.org including banners and pictures giving advice and directions on how to stay safe of Covid-19. These resources are free to the public so I downloaded almost all of them and printed them out for my campaigns.

Organizing a campaign during this time would not be advisable so I went a further more to laminate the resources I printed and placed them at vantage places where they would be safe from destruction as well as cause no harm to the environment where everyone can clearly see and read them when they pass by it. I also did a few house to house campaigns, wearing my nose mask and communicating with people on the need to safeguard oneself against getting infected by Covid-19. I sanitized my hands after every 20 minutes just to make sure I personally don¡¯t get infected whiles telling people to be safe.

It¡¯s been a long journey for me, and I wish to continue doing these things to help my country fight against this deadly Covid-19.

Green Cheers from Ghana!
