by Shreya Aryal | 27-06-2020 18:29

We have been so productive in this period of lockdown and have been involved in many creative activities.Being a environmental activist it would be so unfair if we dont plant any plants in our house and utilize our spare time as well as our waste pots.Thinking the same I have planted Mint in the pot just after my colleges were closed and now I am really happy to see them growing. So, I am here to share something about mint.
Mint (Mentha spicata L.) is  commonly known as pudina in Nepal.IT belongs to family Lamiaceae. It has many health benefits and can be taken in various ways. Due to its goodness I thought of planting it and I have make it to today. Mint has many benefits for our body, hair and face. It can be consumed in the form of juice, chutney, can be used in smoothie and a medicine for cough as well. The benefits of mints are as follows:-
1) Helps to boost digestion.
2) Strengthen our liver.
3) Acts as releivant for asthma patient.
4) Helps to maintain dental hygiene.
5) Helps to reduce cancer causing agents.
6) Good solution for problem of acne.
7) Helps to cure headache.
So, its a good idea to have a mint pot in our house so that we could not only take its advantage but to keep our garden green and insect free as well. Here I have attached the pictures from my small garden where I have planted mint.Pudina
