I am here to share the special day here in Tunza.Today in Nepal it is Asar 15( date according to Nepali Calendar) which is celebrated as National Paddy Day. It is a very special day for farmers as they transplant rice in the field. In Nepal transplanting paddy is done in a different way than other part of world.The peoples gather together make a line, sing song(known as Asare Geet) play with mud ,dance and do the work.Furthermore, people today eat the Curd with beaten rice known as (Dahi-Chiura) in Nepal . This day is a very special day for farmers and fun moment for childrens.

Nepalese way of doing work in a different way with fun is a very adorable habit of us. The main thing is people can gather together and celebrating event like this creates stronger bond between each other.

Hence, Happy National Paddy Day and Dahi Chiura Day to all of us.
