World Agriculture Day- 2020

Agriculture is science and art of cultivating plants and animals (livestock). Agriculture is key for developing countries Nepal and it was started from the time of origin of human beings. From the conventional type of farming in past, now we are now experiencing advanced and modern type of farming by using modern apparatus and improved seeds. The father of agriculture is Norman Ernest Borlaug.

Those people who are involved in farming are called farmers, they are the ones who feed to us and whole world. So, due to its importance World Agriculture Day is celebrated on June 11 every year.

But for increasing production fertilizer, pesticides, insecticides, etc are used which are harmful for both humans and environment. It has been main cause of declining soil fertility.
