“Darkness” This is the theme of my report.

During the month of August there is a constant power cut in my city of Lubango.

This in Angola-Huíla-Lubango.

We felt the effects of the absence of electricity in our lives during this period of time, with no other way out we decided to resort to a solution.

The main reason for the lack of energy was the lack of fuel in the province, according to reports there was a complication at SONANGOL (National Fuel Society of Angola).

WITH THIS, HUÍLA CIVIL SOCIETY HELD A MARCH AGAINST THE LACK OF WATER AND ELECTRIC POWER IN THE NEIGHBORHOODS.

Society and Civil in the province of Huíla, in collaboration with the committees of the 'EIVA E MUTNDO' neighborhoods, held on September 2, 2023, the march against the lack of water and electricity supply in the aforementioned neighborhoods of the municipality of Lubango, capital from the province of Huíla.

The citizens of the aforementioned areas are going through unimaginable difficulties and, despite the Angolan government being aware of the situation, civil society in Huíla says it does not see efforts being made to reverse the situation.

Nowadays we already enjoy good electricity, but we continue to face difficulties due to the lack of water supply and plumbing in some neighborhoods in my city.
