Hope everyone is safe and having quality time amidst this pandemic. 

Trying to make my self-quarantine productive, I have been practicing some eco-friendly ideas. Likely, I practiced making Kokedama today.

Kokedama literally means 'moss-ball'. It is a Japanese technique of garden art. One can decorate Kokedama placing in a supporting platform or hang using strings. 

Now lets look over how I made my Kokedama: 

i. Firstly I took potting mixture, sphagnum moss and little cow dung to make it rigid. 

2. Mixed them well adding little water apt for making a spherical ball.

3. Then cracked the ball right from the center and placed fern( you can use your bonsai tree or your favourite plants like ivy, philodendron, money plant, lucky bamboo,etc.) at the center and again attached the ball. 

4. Then I squeezed my pre- soaked sphagnum moss and then wrapped the ball with moss.

5. I used a thread to tie mosses so that they won't fall off. 

My Kokedama got ready. 

We can hang or place our Kokedama on a supporting platform. I placed it nearby my paint box-garden. 

As a member of eco tunza I am trying to substitute decorations made up of plastic and any such non-degradable objects. 

I want to request everyone of us to try this wonderful idea of decorating our house with something green and organic.
