Every year we celebrate World Earth Day with new hope ans new concept. Every year World Earth day comes with different theme to save our mother Earth. The theme of this year is Climate Action.Climate change has become one of the major problem of the Earth.

This year I cannot celebrate Earth Day as I planned. I had planned to conduct awareness program at in one of the village around my collage area Chitwan in collaboration with my friends. However , I could not do this due to this pandemic ,COVID-19 . I did my small effort which I am sharing below.

Agrochemicals has huge negatives impact on environment and earth . Most of the farmers are using agrochemicals in improper way in the name of getting rid from pests, early harvest and higher yield but they are unknown about its impact in upcoming days.Being student of Agriculture, on the occasion of Earth Day ,I decided to encourage farmer to use organic manure instead of agrochemicals.There are some farmers around my home.I have notice composting bin at their home so decided to see whether they have been following correct method of composting or not.To my surprise, the farmers were not using those bin instead using it to collect garbage.I felt sad that they were unknown about composting.So, I decided to teach them  about bin composting following proper precaution of COVID-19.I was happy to teach them  about bin composting and let them know about it.
