[Thematic report] Chemical Product that affects the environment

[Thematic report] Chemical Product (human made or naturally produced) that affects the environment positively or negatively

Stay Safe Greetings to Fellow Ambassadors.

Chemicals, natural or synthetic, are part of our life. Human beings cannot imagine living a chemical free lifestyle. Sulfuric acid is the most commonly-produced industrial chemical in the world. Its primary industrial use is to make phosphoric acid which is a main ingredient in most chemical fertilizers. Water is also a chemical.

Humans and animals have always been exposed to chemicals in our environment - natural products in foods, smoke from cooking fires, sewage in drinking water, pesticides from plants. However, the dramatic increases in industrialization over the past three centuries have dramatically changed both the quality and the quantity of human exposures, to both natural and synthetic chemicals.

We have developed exponentially and this has put our health at risk at various stages of human lifestyle. The moment we get up from the bed, freshen up, go to university of school or office, travelling, eating, sleeping, house, factories everywhere chemical compound exposure is present. More the development more chemicals. This has worsened the environment considerably.

Progress & innovations has negatively affected the environment. The air we breathe, water we drink, food we eat all is chemically treated & is a damage to the body in a way or other. But, we cannot imagine life without chemicals. Even if its¡¯ a hazard, its¡¯ a requirement. This has taken us away from nature. Such exposures have initiated many side-effects. More & more virus is invading our lives. Giving a challenge to scientists.

Chemical Fertilisers seep into vegetables & fruits & pose a health hazard. The organic farming has mitigated the effect but the mass demand of food has made the Chemical Fertilisers sort of necessary hazard.

Therefore, I may sum-up by stating that try to be as close to nature as possible. Switch to natural, switch to organic.
