  Participation in course " Leadership and Organising". Namaste everyone!! Wishing a joyful "Happy New Year 2077" to all of my Nepalese friends and hoping that the mankind from all around the globe would soon get freed from the confinement due to this COVID-19, today I'm going to share about my experience on a workshop- "Leadership and Organising" which I took a few weeks ago. Me along with 49 others were selected from more than 300 applications for the course. It was conducted by Rupinder Kaur Bhalla, President- Udaan and Teaching Fellow, Leadership, Organising and Action-19, Harvard Kennedy School. Our teaching fellows were Sachin Timalsena and Prakriti Bhattarai from Leadership, Organising and Action-19 and 20 respectively. The course was run on the ZOOM application and lasted for 11 days - March 27th to 6th April. Key learnings were about the concept and various structures of Leadership and an efficient team. We also learnt about public narrative and it's importance on leadership. Although the course was so effective and we got to know a lot about leadership and organising, I mentioned only a few. The main reason behind sharing this here is that, in my view, leadership skill is something really necessary for any change we are willing to see happening. I want to remember Greta Thunberg here. It's because her speeches and leadership actions were bold enough to awaken the world and creating a sense of urgency of saving our mother planet. To sum up, I feel so glad to be a part of the course and would like to thank Eco Tunza for letting us know about various events. Thank you! |
