Program to Mark Earth Day 2020

As Earth Day 2020 is approaching and being program coordinator I would like interested one to take part in this program. 

Hello youths, this year the world saw the impacts of unprecedented epidemic of Covid-19.Right now we are in the middle of epidemic. It might have been difficult to all of us spare this lockdown period.To make this lockdown period meaningful and invest your time in some productive works, let`s participate in online poster presentation that contribute to meet Earth`s Day 2020 theme of Climate action:

Earth Day is April 22 of every year. Every year the day is highlighted with a theme, connecting people on ongoing major environmental event .The theme for Earth Day 2020 is Climate action.

Climate change represents the biggest challenge to the future of humanity and the life-support systems that make our world habitable. Unless every citizens in the world steps up with urgency and ambition, we are consigning current and upcoming generations to dangerous future. The enormous challenges but also the vast opportunities of acting on climate change have distinguished the issue as most pressing topic for Earth Day 2020.

Earth day 2020 should be far more than a day. It must be historic movement when citizens of the world rise up in a united call for the creativity, innovation, ambition, and bravery that we need to meet our climate crisis and seize the enormous opportunities of zero carbon future. April 22, 2020 is a key moment for citizens, institutions and organizations everywhere to demonstrate our shared demand for bold, transformative change. To mark this day and build the largest and most diverse mobilization, Youth endeavour for Sustainable Agriculture ,YES-Agriculture jointly with Tunza Eco-generation Ambassador presents online poster competition on the theme:

 My action against climate change.

General guidelines:

• Any students regardless of faculty and standard can participate.

• Participants should submit their art on poster either in handwritten or digital form along with appropriate caption.

Note: participants should submit two photo, one- picture of poster and another-picture where poster remain intact with participant`s photo. If poster is digital use your own creativity to attach your poster with photo.

• Short video clip (not more than 2 minutes) to express your views and elaborate your poster is acceptable(not mandatory).

• Partcipants need to submit their poster via email: yesagriculture.2013@gmail.com no later than 20thth April.

Format:<pictures of poster><Caption><Name of participant`s><Institution>

• Judgement criteria :70% from internal evaluation and 30% on the basis of like and reactions on the post you shared through official fb page(

• Result will be published on 30th April,2020.
