Pineapple plant in a kitchen garden

by Sarah Poudel | 13-04-2020 17:04

Hello everyone!

Have you ever grown a pineapple plant in your kitchen garden?

Today, here I am going to share my personal experience of planting pineapple in a kitchen garden.
It can be planted in the ground as well as in the pot. My personal preference is ground as we had lots of barren land behind the wall.About one and half years ago, i selected an organic pineapple plants where the  leaves look healthy, firm and green from the local market store. As pineapple is a tropical plant so it prefer warm weather where it get at least 6 hours of sunlight. And best soil for pineapple plant is non compacted, well aerated, draining, moist and loamy soil. Considering this fact, i  have planted pineapple plant behind the wall.
It took nearly 1-3 months to grow new roots and leaves. And now two of the plant are fruiting.
If plant doesn't produce fruit it can also be used as indoor plant if you  plant in a pot.

It is very beneficial to have an organic pineapple. They are rich in  vitamin, enzyme and antioxidant. They also boost the immune system, build strong bones and aid digestion.

If you grow seasonal fruit in your kitchen garden, you don't have to buy in a street market generally on the side of road where dust particle can settle down and can cause damage to health.

                EAT ORGANIC, STAY HEALTHY!!!
