by Poomrapee Sommana | 11-04-2020 01:47

Hi Guys!! How's it going in your country?
I hope everyone is safe from COVID-19 and hope that things will get better soon (I hate quarantine +-+). So about today's topic I'm going to update the situation my last report about PM 2.5 in Thailand.

First of all, I would like to say thank you to all of the firefighters, volunteers and local authorities that has been sacrificing and working very hard to solve this problem.

Since the problem has occurred, Chiang Mai, the province in the Nothern part of Thailand becomes one of the most dangerous places to live.North still choked with dangerous smog | The Thaiger
Yesterday, Chiang Mai took the number one spot according to IQAir. Even the number of PM 2.5 is lower than last month but still isn't a good place for any kind of creatures. People in Chiang Mai are suffering from dusty air and pollution that affects their daily life but government seems not to care and still let the local authorities working while having no help. The effects of COVID-19 which reduce air pollution but however , forest is still on fire. Local fire fighters , volunteers and local people tried so hard on trying to kill the fire , but it seems not to end very soon.
All of that is because of some groups of local people that tried to ignite the fire in the forest, one of them got caught while pouring an oil near trees and with the lighters, candles and a bottle of oil in his bag. After that, He confessed to the police that it's because of his impetuousness.
Police announce that this is the universal standard confession for well-prepared crime like this.

¡°The damage it left behind is extensive,¡± according to Chiang Mai¡¯s governor, Charoenrit Sanguansat.

"I just hope everything is getting better very soon" according to Me, Poomrapee Sommana.

Stay safe and have a nice day
