Thematic Report; "Chemical Product(human made or naturally produced) that affects the environment positively or negatively."

by Justice Obiri | 09-04-2020 11:03

An amazing thematic topic especially considering the woes the world is facing now, COVID19. The chemical product I can think of at this very worrying times is the HAND SANITIZER. There are so many ways of doing or making this amazing substance and it poses no harm or danger to the environment.

I have practically done some before using aloe Vera extracts, fragrance and alcohol (Industrial). I had all of these at home so I decided to Do It Myself and the results were amazing. It is therefore very easy to make on a smaller scale; it costs less but ensures a very high standard of hygiene among individuals who use it. So I have decided to list a few benefits of hand sanitizers I could come up with;

1.    It ensures cleanliness; It kills germs up to 99.9% when used appropriately.

2.     It is very portable; Even though some come in quite huge containers, majority of it are pocket-sized and this makes the hand sanitizer very portable.

3.    It ensures less risk of a disease; This is very important considering what we are all facing together today of COVID19, using hand sanitizers can help kill the coronavirus and lessen the its spread. The same applies to any disease or infection that could be transmitted through contact.

4.    It improves hand-skin texture; Though this has no scientific prove yet, suggestions say that since the hand sanitizers are alcohol based, they could actually help soften the tough texture of the hand. It feels great to touch a hand that feels soft and it also improves bad odour the hand might have. The fragrance plays a good role in taking care of the hand odour.

This product causes no harm to the environment and I think we can find a way of making it a portable pet and friend. Remember to stay home, wash your hands, use Hand Sanitizers, and stay safe.
