Impact of using non-stick cookware

Development of modern technology has fulfilled all most every need of human.. Bg schedule and willingness to fulfill our task in easily and fast has resulted in discovery of non -stick cookware.

 

Nowadays,non-stick cookware can be seen in almost every kitchen.The visual appearances of these utensils make our kitchen look more modern and standard.We can easily wash these utensil  because food doesn't stick to Teflon layer. Technology using Teflon in various utensils prevent the food from sticking and cooking without or minor oil.

 

But many of us may not be aware about disadvantages of using Teflon layered utensils.They are many problem  associated with  such cookware, we might be exposing our family to toxins.Because they are made by using carcinogenic chemical that is PFOA(Perfulorooctanoic acid) when it is heated to produce toxin.Whenever we cook ,we end up inhaling toxin.When utensils are over heated Teflon  break down into PFIB(Perfuloroisobutene)  chemical.According to research,these chemicals are harmful to our health,can cause many cancer like breast cancer,prostate cancer,infertility etc.Many cases of flu like diseases has been reported by inhaling such chemicals. It is harmful for pregnant women.It cause poisoning in birds.
