Have you ever heard about testtube plant?

by Horticulturist Susmita | 01-04-2020 02:29

You must have grown plants in soil; in pot, in vessels, in egg shell or in other materials. You must have heard about test tube baby. Have you ever seen plant in test tube and grown test tube plant?

I am an agriculturist and a researcher. I love doing trials and different things. In this course, I have gone through test tube plant.

Although there has been much excitement about the recent human testtube baby born in England, gardeners can take this news more in stride. They have been propagating or cloning plants for some time. And so have gardeners before them who grafted, layered or budded a plant.

More recently, plant scientists have unlocked a treasure of unending possibilities with a new system of plant propagation using tissue culture. These are the real test‐tube baby plants.

Within each cell all the genetic information, or DNA, is present which can produce a new plant identical to the parent. This has been accomplished in the laboratory with a single cell of tobacco to grow a plant exactly like the mother plant, but this microresearch necessitates specialized completely sterile laboratory facilities.

It¡¯s really a lot of trial and error, you may have to try a few different things to see what works best in your space. You might be surprised at what does.

Why don't you go for it? Indoor plants lover, you will love it.
