Climate Change

by Sushma Sapkota | 30-03-2020 20:47

Simply climate is average weather pattern of a certain area experienced over a long time. well thats the definition i have known since my childhood.I learnt that climate is not static and changes due to natural factors.

the earth gets warm by receiving solar energy. When the temperature increases, heat is re-reflected back by the atomphere. As the walls of a greenhouse, the atmosphere thus lets in the solar light and absorbs the outgoing heat and keeps the atmosphere heated.this process called greenhouse effect.Due to extra accumulation of green house gases(CO2, CH4 etc), the heating process is intensified.polluted air stops heat escaping making earth warmer, which called global warming.More factories, more vehicles, deforestation all causing global warming.

Effects of climare change are very dire. Global temperature have risen alarmingly.Due to climate change, sea levels are consistently rising. pattern of rainfall has changed. some places receiving excessive rainfall causing landslides and floods while others getting drier. Desserts are expanding.

what's causing all these sudden and rapid chnages? It's now clear human activities are most responsible for climate change.
what must be done? Is it late too execute concrete solution? or Is it too late to save our MOTHER EARTH.
