     Earth hour , a world wide movement to conserve the resources and save our planet was firstly started in 2007, in Sydney, Australia .It has been organized by the World Wide Fund For Nature(WWF) with the aim to turn off non-essential lights for 60+ minutes , as a symbol of commitment to our mother planet , earth.It has now been grown across 7,000 cities of 187 different countries and is celebrated every year towards the end of March with the aim to raise awareness for energy consumption and effects on the environment. Previously, I was totally unknown about this great initiative and have never been itspart.But, this year through tunza ecogeneration platform, I came to know about such a great initiative and event that we must participate on to conserve our mother planet, Earth. So, i diparticipateon this great event yesterday on March 28, turning off the lights and lightening the rooms with candles . I had never expected it could be so fun and I was really happy that I was also one of the participants to conserve our mother planet, earth. I sketched the pictures of earth .One representing how happy the two kids were to see their earth green turning off the bulb and connecting to the earth..The other one was on the theme plant trees , conserve resources, save water, make earth pollution free inorder to foght against climate change and bring sustainable development. It was a great experience to lighten my room with candles and taking pictures of myself with my those sketches.. It was fun and also informative fpr me as previously i was unknown about such a wonderful event.. So, I really wanna thank Tunza eco generation for providing me such an opportunity to learn about it and do participate for my mother planet, Earth. Hope you also did participate and enjoyed the earth hour.
