Earth hour was started by WWF and partners. It was done as a symbolic lights-out event in Sydney in 2007. It has started movements for the environment, involving millions of people all round the 180 countries and territories.

Celebrating this we turn off the unnecessary lights in hour house from 8:30-9:30 pm according to our GMT which differs in different country. In this period of an hour, we can carry out any other activities like candle lit dinner, taking the view of stars, etc.

     This year 28th March,i.e. today Earth hour was celebrated all around the world .I myself also celebrated it in simple way and I am so happy to celebrate this Earth Hour as I was so excited for this. It was my first experience.
