WATER AND CLIMATE CHANGE

by Anjila Pandey | 24-03-2020 23:25

Water,an inevitable part for every living beings in the world.
Climate change,a phenomenon of change in climatic features from its previous condition.
How are these two related then??
This year's WORLD WATER DAY is all about this, having its theme- 'Water and Climate Change', showing how these are inextricably related.

The given drawing picturises their relationship. It's we people who MUST PUSH ALONG to make better climatic conditions via interventions on water savage and water pollution prevention. Plus, forests do have direct connection with the water resources, so afforestation is highly requested to address and bring in maximum practice. The left side of the drawing is our future, potentially to occur if we just neglect the threatening symbols nature has been showing in the present. BLACK ENVIRONMENT with BLACK AIR, BLACK WATER and our BLACK FUTURE for sure. The sea level will have drastically rised above the surface, ice will all melt because of Global Warming and ice habitants, such as Polar Bear will have nowhere to stay. Their survival will be in danger, making their total population count recede. The land will desertify and become lifeless for the plants to grow. People will die thirsty, with no drop of water handy.

So, what are we waiting for? Waiting for the climate to be deteriorated even more?
