Hello Everyone

This is Kushal Naharki from Nepal. I am the winner of Hidden Eco Hero Award 2018 and have been associated with Tunza EcoGeneration since last three years. As Tunza Ecogeneration Regional Ambassador, this is my fifth term. I have been also awarded with Ambassador Sponsorship Program. Joining Tunza EcoGeneration and continuing my Eco Journey has been one of the best decision I have taken and I feel proud to be with Tunza Ecogeneration Family.

I have reached more than 19000 points on the Tunza Ecogeneration Platform. As I am only Few hundred points from 20K points on the platform, I am writing this report to share you so that I Inspire and motivate you with my Journey.

With emergence of social media, people keep themselves getting busy on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. According to Common Sense Media, teens spend an average of nine hours a day online (paywall), compared to about six hours for those aged eight to twelve. Any way you cut it, it’s a lot of time staring at a screen. A study from researchers at Baylor University has found college students spend an average of 8- 10 hours a day on their cell phones.

How long time do you spend online? Are these spent time used for meaningful purpose? You can turn your time scrolling social media just for fun to utilizing it for more better purpose. Its a way forward to start your journey as Eco Leader.

My suggestion for how you can involve in the platform:

1.     Participate in all monthly events of Tunza EcoGeneration. There are different monthly events every months in explore your different talents.

2.     Share your environment experiences and happenings in your region writing report in World report. (Ambassadors can write in Ambassador Report)

3.     Share the image of your eco activities in Gallery Section

4.     Read reports and leave meaningful feedback in them.

5.     Read resources and learn with fun in FunLand.

6.     Participate in different opportunities like Ambassador Program, Eco Hero Award, Junior Engineering Academy and Essay Writing Competition.

7.     You can post and learn about new opportunities in Opportunities Section.

You must take a step forward to move ahead. Start your Eco Journey and show your Engagement in the platform. It is one of the best opportunities you will get.
