My Journey as Eco Tunza Ambassador

It was my best decision to join this elite platform as a member when Bindu Bhandari didi introduced me to her eco programs. Now my ambassadorship is extended for the 24th term. I am going to write about some programs and events that I have conducted as 23rd regional ambassador.

 Though I couldn't complete some of my plans mentioned in the ambassador request form durto my academic commitments, I have put my efforts to aware students and people where I stay to complete my academic internship program. 

Here are some of the events and campaigns as 23rd regional ambassador of TEG

1. I have started my ambassador journey by an afforestation program in Chitwan, Nepal.with the main motive of conserving the environment involving youths along with the objectives of promoting local tourism to support theme “VISIT NEPAL 2020” and conserving Environment.

2. I conducted an awareness program for school students and Our main topic for sharing to the school children was: 1. stray animal welfare 2. plastic pollution 3. food waste . Apart from these, I introduced myself as a tunza eco generation ambassador and had some discussion about opportunities.  

3. I have organised an online essay competition on the occasion of TIGER DAY.

4. I played a role in a drama animal welfare awareness program 

5. We celebrated international peace day 2019 with government school students by art with a message.

6. We celebrated Rabies Awareness Week 2019 in collaboration with some organizations. Following programs were conducted:
   A. Mass vaccination to stray dogs

B. school awareness

C. community awareness

D. rabies awareness rally

7. I conducted a share of your photo for an environmental campaign that connected school children, youth and women.

8. On the occasion of World Animal Day 2019, I made an interaction program with people representing hild club,youth club and many organizations sharing knowledge about animal welfare and plastic pollution.

9. On the occasion of world food day 2019, I collected youths' messages and uploaded videos on youtube and shared them.

10. I created awareness to village women about Air pollution while harvesting crops.

11. I conducted school awareness program  focused on PLASTIC POLLUTION

12. I have organized a technical presentation about Are elephants also suffering from plastic pollution?? Focusing veterinary students.

13. I have started my campaign Donate your Plastic Wastes to collect plastic trash and make some gift items.

14. I have launched my campaign Project - HPCP to organize various programs like  Student awareness

• Public awareness

• Dustbin distribution program

• Practical application of Reuse and Recycle of plastic and plastic products

• Various academic programs and competitions

15. One of my successful programs this term is DUSTBIN DISTRIBUTION to local school.total 15 dustbins were donated.

16. I have organized drawing art program for convincing children to love nature

17. Another program that makes me feel proud is TRASH CHALLENGE COMPETITION.

18. Again, I have conducted SCHOOL AWARENESS AND DRAWING ART PROGRAM on the occasion of New year 2020.

19. I have conducted an awareness program about plastic pollution to sports children.

20. No pesticide week was celebrated in Karnali province of Nepal with many organizations.

21. I made a visit to a school in a remote area and made awareness programs. Also I, along with school teachers, made some local dustbin by local trash. 

22. I conducted a village cleanliness program in a remote area of western Nepal, where this was the first starting campaign there and they are doing this regularly.

23. Besides these campaigns, I have regularly posted ambassador reports about the environment, animal welfare and many current issues. Some of my report titles are :

5. Many endangered species like vulture, pangolin, tiger, elephant, rhino

     24. More than 55 reports are posted by me. Also, I have active participation in tunza      events.

I am engaged in some other organizations like Eco minions, Veterinary students for Animal welfare, Nepal veterinary Students association, Youth for our Planet and Climate edu project. Involvement of these organizations makes me more responsible towards the environment and animals.
