Our Environment

Personal hygiene and domestic environmental sanitation play  very important roles in environmental management and conservation of a nation. As an adage goes, "two trees do not make a forest" confirms that the proper environmental management of a region or a nation is a collective responsibility.

Our personal contribution and positive responses to environmental sanitation activities and awareness will greatly enhance the realisation of the vision for environmental conservation in any country.

Personally we are not to neglect or belittle our contribution towards making our environment clean and ensuring that we do not contribute to environmental pollution. Below are principles we can keep.

1. Ensure we do not drop a refuse until we get to a waste bin/ dump site
2. We should be conscious of the environment in all that we do
3. If we are not ready to double the stand, we should not cut a tree
4. We should be willing to abide by the rules and regulations governing the region we find ourselves.
5.  We should be ready to correct and educate the defaulters of environmental rules.

Even if we aren't environmental engineers, scientists and activists that are working and making researches  tirelessly towards improving the current environmental conditions, compliance to the mentioned will not only greatly contribute to the ongoing work, but also be a source of motivation to the environmental professionals working to improve the environmental conditions globally.

The protection of our environment is a collective responsibility.
