During my winter vacation,I visited my village Arghakhanchi.Despite being village it is polluted with wastes.There I saw a lot of plastics,garbages,wastes,filthy and dirty things. Deforestation has been increased a lot . Today's people are still not aware about the effects of deforestation.
But I found that various organizations are working on it. Youth Circle Sandhikharka, Arghakhanchi has started working on it. When I was there,this organization organized a training that teaches how to make bamboo basket or dustbin. This was really good initiative .Almost all people from the local village participated there . They all attended programme and was happily engaged in this training .They made at least one bamboo basket for their home to throw non -decomposable wastes .I myself was also engaged there being the member of YRC , Paklihawa . This was so much helpful because this dustbin can replace plastic dustbins.I was glad that without using plastics they teached how to go together with green living eco-system .I think in other district also this programme should be initiated so that we can save the environment.
