Recycling – Collection, deposit & awareness

Dear Fellow Ambassadors. I believe that, whatever you do you must do it with full enthusiasm. Your must finish what you begin. I love my Mother Earth & recycling has been my passion for many years. I use to collect massive amounts of various recyclable stuff but I always made it a point to hand over the same to the local recycling agencies. Means the activity is not only limited to collection but deposit also.

In our neighborhood Bee’ah, the local recycling agency has introduced Reverse Vending Machines [RVM] for Plastic Bottles & aluminium cans. You may collect the plastic bottles & cans and take them to the RVM near you. The machine will crush the same so that it may be recycled easily & it will give a receipt for the same.

This receipt will provide you points and the same shall be credited with your account online. This will initiate healthy competition among the recycling enthusiasts. I have made arrangements with local restaurants & other neighbourhood and convinced them not to throw such recyclable stuff into waste bins & rather collect the same & take it to the RVM & earn points. I educated them by verbal & video orientation.

Further, I set up my example by collecting huge quantities & earning points so that they may be motivated in similar activities. Knowledge & wisdom multiplies by sharing thus this has created huge interest in the recycling programmes. 

Al this has created awareness & huge waste has thus been diverted from landfills. It is my humble appeal to all the eco-warriors to reduce, reuse & recycle. This is the life line for eco-conservation. Thanks for reading.
