The current global situation in terms of population growth and food availability is not comfortable. The headcount is increasing in geometric proportion while food production in arithmetic progression. Global hunger and chronic malnutrition are above baseline. We need a new paradigm of inclusive agriculture green growth. Both the quantity and quality of our agriculture product should improve rapidly. we should focus on exploring new edible species, refining existing foodstuffs, considering our food safety, reducing wastage during handling and processing. The scientific research has now to be focused on improving the fertility of the soil and nutrient taking capacity of the plant.

The quest for easy food now has changed in terms of taste, nutrition, and preferences. Today we can choose one food over another due to the availability of various options. The issue of food safety now has shifted towards balanced ration from starvation which used to challenge human civilization not long ago in many geographies. The important issue today is the proper distribution of available food worldwide since we are growing food enough for us. One part of the world is obsessed and other is starved, making a large portion of the population chronically malnourished. The existing dedicate balance of our existing resources, biodiversity, and climate is being damaged on a global scale. The condition will worsen when we will have too little to produce and too much to feed. Thus, a special focus on agricultural innovation, modernization and transformation is the safe future we are heading towards.
