Serious environmental problems are inherent in the country which are great ecological concern in terms of its sustainable economic future these includes soil erosion, deforestation, shortage of water, pesticide misuse, waste are generating, and natural disasters. Also some are the seasonal impacts like  fog, flood, dust storm, drought,  moisture and cyclonic storms in urban sea.
Unavailability of water is the man issue according to the report of International monetary fund  (IMF) Pakistan rank 3rd in the list of countries facing water shortage United Nation Development Program (UNDP) and Pakistan Council of Researach in Water Resources (PCRWR) indicate Pakistan will reach absolute scarcity by 2025. In May 2015, Karachi experienced the deadly heat wave Pakistan has seen over 50 year at least 1200 people during hot weather. Other main issue of environmental problem is deforestation according to recent study in between 1990 and 2005 Pakistan lost 24.7% of its forest cover. Main reasons of deforestation are energy crises urbanization and domestic use. Waste disposal also main environmental issue our factories dispose thousand of tones waste in river on daily basis this is main cause of indus river is 2nd polluted river in the world.
Main finding of environmental causes through this report is that lack of financial resources,  technical knowledge gap, also main reason is the increasing numbers of population with the per capita income. also uses of personal vehicles  causing the smoke in major cities  such as Lahore, Karachi vehicles smoke causing the cancer and other serious health problems. Pakistan government launched clean green program for increase forest cover. Government and the people of Pakistan needs to cooperate each other and international community also need to engaged because climate change does not differentiate between borders, and international community is also aware of climate change effects on Pakistan.
