Visit Nepal 2020 has also focused on the issue of environmental sustainability. It has commitment on ‘Going Green’. Nepal is also organizing “The Sustainable Summits conference” in Nepal on 1-5 June 2020 to showcase the country’s mountain environment, highlight climate change issues and bring international attention to Nepal’s mountain tourism. It is 5th international conference sharing solutions for protecting and preserving the world’s mountain regions. The Sustainable Summits Conferences are inspired by the growing pressures on our mountain environments, the need to find solutions to the impacts of such pressures – overcrowding, waste, noise and more – and a drive to uphold values in sustaining these environments.
