On the date 2019/72/06,IAAS (International Association of students in Agriculture and Related Science)conducted a very informative program called 'Kaushi Kheti' which means roof farming.We organised this program specially for 'Aama Samuha' of Ranigaun,Bhairahawa.They are eager to know about this so we conducted it.Literally,Kaushi Kheti means planting  of any annual,biennial plants,vegetables,flowers  on the roof or any empty space of house where there is direct fall of sunlight.

    I  and Sabin Shrestha brother well presented about this in simple way so that all the participated woman can understand and can apply at their home.We also said that there are a lot of benefits of doing this type of farming.Some of them are:

1. We can get fresh, pesticide free and organic vegetables.

2.We can utilize our free time and it's the matter of interest also.

3.This can save our money more than 20% from our income.

4.Using pesticides contained vegetables our health is degrading day by day. This can be important from health point of view also 

5.We can maintain green and freshness around our surroundings.

     We do believe in practical knowledge so we demonstrate  how we can prepare media and all those.First of all we took a plastic bottles which was not in use,we then made drainage holes in the bottom of container.Next we mixed sand,soil and FYM in the ratio of 1:1:1 respectively.After that we took some mustard seed then sowed it.Finally ,we irrigate it .As saying of those woman program was so beneficial and they promise that they apply this kind of farming from today.

Why not to eat fresh homemade vegetables instead of consuming inorganic chemicals??
