This year's event theme was "Climate Change, Hands in Hands, Healing the Land." This pivotal gathering brought together a diverse array of professionals, scholars, and activists committed to mitigating the impacts of climate change and fostering sustainability in Pakistan. The chief guest for the event was Mr. Karl Rogers, a distinguished US Embassy Officer in the US Consulate General Lahore.

The event commenced with a warm welcome from the PUAN leadership, emphasizing the importance of collective action and knowledge sharing in addressing the global challenge of climate change. They stressed the critical role of Pakistan's US alum community in driving change within the country. Mr. Karl Rogers, US Embassy Officer in the US Consulate General Lahore, delivered the keynote address. Several important themes emerged from the panel discussion:

2. Education and Awareness: Participants highlighted the importance of educational programs to raise awareness about climate change and its consequences among the general public.

4. Policy and Governance: The role of effective climate policies and transparent governance in addressing climate challenges was underscored.

The event concluded with a call to action, urging attendees to commit to climate-friendly practices in their personal and professional lives. Everyone expressed their commitment to continuing climate change awareness activities and called for further collaboration between the alumni network, local communities, and government entities to drive climate resilience and sustainability in Pakistan.

The theme, "Climate Change, Hands in Hands, Healing the Land," aptly captured the spirit of collective responsibility required to address this global challenge effectively. It is expected that the knowledge and enthusiasm generated at this event will contribute to enhancing climatic conditions in Pakistan and other developing countries facing similar issues.
