by Sandhya Adhikari | 19-11-2019 02:18

Hello and Greeting from the land of Mount Everest,

Introducing myself its me Sandhya Adhikari from Nepal. Before starting this relay I would like to apologize for the late response due to my hectic schedule nowadays.....

However I would like to offer my sincere thankfulness to our respected Lisa Mentor for coming up with such an excellent and stupendous concept and filled with fun Tunza relay. I am also writing this report as a part of Tunza relay. I am so much blessed to be the part of this elite platform which only don¡¯t let my ideas shared, work appreciated, but also motivates and encourage ever. These people and this platform is one of the great achievement I ever had. A girl born on the country side, a nerd year ago who confided herself to only close relatives and small friend circle now grew up with one of the most hardworking, responsible, passionate, enthusiast and determinant girl who ever believe that she can make a change. I grew up with one of the enthusiast person for the protection of this mother earth, for this I am encouraging children, young people and older people about the various environmental issues. I do love to work with the diverse group of people and explore this environmental networking platform to the people of my reach, I also encourage to participate in this tunza relay.

1. Acrostic Poem

Sandhya literally means a dusk but will shine like a sun on her dream,

A nerd year ago but now with a keen determination to keep the world green.

Searching the identity she lost with the god damn life she got,

a belief and a confidence ignite on her, that negative flames that wont gonna make her dream burnt.

Working with hard work passion and enthusiasm,

Hoping that our action bring a crucial impact of desire and dream,

Creating a beautiful, prosperous world a safe heaven to settle in.

And yes I am the women of this earth....

#Volunteering and Empowering: I had ever believed that true volunteer are those who can make a change on someone life. I love to volunteer especially to the children and empower youth to stand independently, make them aware about the various issues to fight and cope up with them. I associated with various national and international organization to work efficiently, I had also stepped my foot to global movement, with a belief that I will be the changemaker.71656382_425789804738833_3645389754888880128_n (1).jpg

2. Campaigns and awareness programme

I have been involved in various national organizations where I am working for the local people, giving various trainings as an agriculturist, teaching and make them aware of food security, pollution, pesticide residue effect, teaching them about composting through unused biodegradable products,

I really love to work practically.

#Environmental Issue that I have passion for:

I am much passionate for  pollution and climate change as both of these are so catastrophic to human being as an agriculturist also I am much more inclined to this issue. And I promise to contribute from my own side to work for this.
