The terms plastics includes materials composed of various elements such as carbon, oxygen, nitrogen, chlorine and sulfur. Plastics also called polymers are produced by the conversion of natural products or the synthesis from primary chemicals from oil, natural gas, or coal. Compared to other materials plastics are much more used materials ever by the persons for their daily needs, daily activities. Plastics are light weight materials with excellent chemical stability, durability due to this properties people are using this so excessively without any consensus of its negative and deteriorating effect on the environment due to its accumulation. Plastics takes nearly 50-1000 years for its decomposition.
When I visit every place I find plastics wrappers, plastics bags, bottles, most importantly junk food packed in plastics, this really makes me so stunned and furious sometimes, I know I alone cant do anything but I believe to  make a change to some extent with my effort, so from my side I promised to use plastics as less than I could, I am now teaching every those children to my reach about its harmful effect and encouraging them to reduce the use of plastics as much as they can, sharing my stories previously I didn¡¯t even care of this but after joining this elite platform my responsiveness increased so altitudinously towards this environment, when someone gives goods on plastics I fear to take that plastics, my brain stimulate me and my hand to reject it, when I eat those food wrapped in plastics like noodles, chips, chocolate afterward my brain stimulate me and question me, Sandhya what will you do now with this plastics wrappers?

So now being an agriculturist what I have planned and is doing is that, I am just reusing all those noodles, chips wrappers to plant something that add beauty and contribute something to this environment, Using the most famous wrapper found most accessibly i.e Wai Wai noodles wrapper, I filled it with soil and propagated Gerbera an ornamental flowers by its corm,  After 15 days of plantation of corm I saw a success of propagation on that plastic wrapper, I am so happy that my Gerbera will now bloom on that thrown wrappers!!!!!!!!!

This is my belief that small act will bring a great impact and can make a huge change!!!!!!!!
