People still believe ecological farming has lower productivity than the conventional Farming practices. Many follow misconception that the world shall die of hunger if we shall convert our fields into organic ones. People fear of pests and disease, that they will reduce our yields significantly if we do not use pesticides on our field.

We set up demonstration of organic field on Sundarbazzar-7, Lamjung. We cropped for two different seasons; the summer and the winter. We cropped bitter gourd, sponge gourd, bottle gourd and Cucumber in summer while cauliflower, cabbage and broccoli were planted in winter season. We demonstrated local people that organic farming is not only sustainable but also very productive. The picture of explaining local farmer about pest control activities is attached with the report.
