Although climate change effects have already shown deleterious effects in livelihood of Nepalese, many of us are unaware of the climate change effects and mitigation measures. Thus, we have been organizing mass march and awareness program since 2012, when I was studying in grade nine, collaborating with 10 schools in eastern Kathmandu. We have been awaring people on the causes of climate change, effects on our livelihood and finally mitigation and adaption measures to cope with this changing environment.

There have been significant improvement in daily activities of people since we began the campaign. People have reduced the use of plastics increased the incorporation of wastes into the field. People have reduced the use of fossil fuels by walking for short distances and choosing to walk over vehicles during free time.
