My single step for the global movement; Experiencing through WORKING

by Sandhya Adhikari | 28-10-2019 00:54

We cant deny the fact that we all are surrounded with science and its practical applications everyday, we can see due to the light effect, all credit goes to sound effect for letting us hear, we can able to digest food that we ingest due to science and still there are uncountable examples how we are connected to science. What I believe is that we all have right to science, excess to scientific technology and most importantly ¡°don¡¯t just learn science, do science with full of excitements and learning¡¯¡¯. So for the revolution of science and science education I had rack up my hand to global movement of making children and youth aware about various science equipment which they can afford and which will directly assist them on practical field.

After the successful conduction and completion of demonstration and importance of Foldscope (1$ paper origami microscope) in Agriculture field on my own campus IAAS, under my own coordination i planned to extend the knowledge of this equipment to more youth and children around my reach which is really so practical and applicable for every those science curious mind, I had already written my report on this topic on sep 1st clarifying its feature and some importance as it is my own resolution plan after being an ambassador of tunza eco generation, I believe that volunteering not only means helping others, actual winner and volunteers are those who can make a change on someone¡¯s life, whose words and action make their life better today and prosperous future, then I set a plan to organize this programme and start from my own school children, that school where I spent my golden childhood phase, that school which shaped me to be the best possible version of me, then I went to my school as an Alumni of that school named Laligurans Academy with my ideas, I was so surprised with the kind gesture and invitation from my school for this programme, coincidence matched that they were influenced by my activities and was planning to invite me for this, I was so much overwhelmed by this word and that gave me the feeling of motivation and encouragement to act so effectively. Then I went to lab and found that there is no any microscope available and science teacher weren¡¯t able to start biology chapter, on a meantime my ideas gave them a feeling of satisfaction. The formal notice were given to students by school committee about the programme. Next day I arrived there and I saw those curious face to know something from me, something that is actually a new topic for them, I gave a presentation on Foldscope , I showed them slide and they were so happy with this, opps I gave presentation for 2 hours continuously for two shifts, but their curiosity made my tiredness so pleasing.

Similarly for this work my words wouldn¡¯t be sufficient to offer my gratitude to my principal sir of Laligurans Academy Mr. Ujjwal Raj Sharma, for taking my ideas and work so positively and inviting me for this programme, similarly, I couldn¡¯t forget some name like Anil Gautam, CEO of Foldscope Nepal for his ever encouragement and inspiration for my work, Sagar Adhikari for being my Mentor, how can I forget those passionate and such a cheerful students for listening me so patiently and their feedbacks are really so motivating for me, I was also so much felicitated by students curiosity on my yellow tshirt of tunza eco generation,  I also made them aware about this environment networking platform in brief and promised to conduct my programme for them  very soon with detail information along with our responsibility for mother earth, our environment and ecosystem. still I have many more to do I am planning to extend it to those children who even don¡¯t know about microscopy world. To sum up it was really a great experience for me to teach others,

Still miles to go and do for humanity before I sleep..............
