Renewable energy in Vietnam

by Dat Hua | 26-10-2019 22:47

Hello all ambassador of Tunza , I hope you will have a nice day after hardworking week . Today , I will write a report about the topic of the month "renewable energy'' and in this writing I will mainly focus on renewable energy of Vietnam - my country. Energy sources in Vietnam are diverse in Vietnam , ranging from coal , oil , natural gas , hydropower , and renewable energy  . At present , hydropower hold the largest share among all the renewable energy sources , followed by biomass and wind. Solar energy , biogas and waste-to-energy technologies are picking up slowly while geothermal energy and tidal energy are at a very early stage . Our government aims to increase the electricity output produced from renewable sources from approximately 58 billion kWh in 2015 to 101 billion kWh by 2020 and 186 billion kWh by 2030 .Although renewable energy was invested significantly , investors in our country are still facing a lot of challenges such as :
-Lack of capital
-Low tariffs coupled with high investments cost in newer technology
-Lack of qualified human resources
-Underdeveloped supporting industries
-Weak grid capacity
.....
Despite these challenges , our country are doing its best to use renewable energy as a main sources of energy with the hope of decreasing the environmental pollution .
I hope you will enjoy my article and let me know what you think about this writing as well as show if there is any fault in this piece of writing and don not hesitate to ask me . Thank you !
I hope you have a wonderfull day . All best wishes to you .
