About half of the world population is covered by the Youth. Youth are supposed to be the integral part of the overall socio economic development and transformer of the nation as the future of any country solely depends upon the activities of the youth. Youth have those  power, have those valiant determination and dedications to fight against every sub optimal activities. When child is born he is born with no any ideas of environment and biodiversity, they are so carefree I would better call they are on the most happiest stage of their life, when he/she cross the age of 30 they are entangle with a lot of responsibility, he/she even don’t have any time to think about them. So the stage between this two phase of life i.e youth stage which is the most precious, most powerful and the transition stage, it’s the stage when youth can bring revolution, change and transformation.

Human beings and environment are so interrelated to each other, human are the part of the Earth’s ecosystem, our interaction with the environment matters but at the same way the environmental components have undergone change and destructions. The world is on the destruction phase various environmental component have undergone rapid destruction due to over exploitation, rampant use, lack of awareness, lack of thinking capacity for the environmental friendly activities. As a youth I have also major concern for the environment so that concern drivers me to join this elite platform of Tunza Eco Generation to foster my ideas, raise my voice for the environmental issues and work for this environment. Not only me millions of youth from all across the globe have joined their hands for the sustainability of the environment. Different movement have also been organized previously for the conservation of this environment through the collective effort. Let me introduce and write some names which has really done their great for this mother earth.

Everyone of us are familiar and we heard this name time and again, a 16 year old climate activist Swedish student Greta Thunberg who has sparked  a global youth moment to take a bold stand on climate change, who has challenged this world with her bold voice. Christiana Figueres, Former executive security of UN Framework Convention On Climate change (UNFCCC), costa Rica, she was one of the major force in the creation of the Paris Agreement. May Boeve, Executive Director, 350.org, United States who run one of the major climate change movement in the world. Jacinda Ardern, Prime minister of New Zealand one of the youngest female prime minister of the world, she works for pushing New Zealand to proactive in achieving the goal of the Paris Agreement: “Action on climate change is about being on the right side of history.” How can I forgot her, Miss Bindu Bhandari one of the activist from my country i.e Nepal who has worked so passionately to raise awareness for climate change in Nepal, particularly the effect of glacial melt on fresh water sources. Currently she works with climate Interactive, Us-based climate and energy think tank contributing towards the international diffusion of climate interactive simulator models. Now see how youth are changing this world, Youth from all across the country and globe are working together for this climate actions.

Small Initiation from my side;

Here I am an undergraduate student currently having my degree on Agriculture. As agriculture is directly related to Environment so this field has also inspired me to work and act for this environment, As a Regional Ambassador of Tunza Eco generation and Board Member at Youth Endeavour for Sustainable Environment, I have ever tried my best to leave my positive footmarks for this environment. Currently major epidemics of Dengue virus Fever is spreading on our country, still majority of people are illiterate and are not well known of this fact so to aware them about the dengue fever, importance of cleanliness we conducted cleanliness campaigns, presentation to aware local campaigns, rally on the local area. To some extent we were able to conduct this campaign successfully.

In a nut shell, what I want to conclude that together we can make a huge change. Lets work together to make our environment clean, green and healthy.
