[Program Review] First 6 Months as an Ambassadorby Umut Karadeniz | 01-09-2019 08:12 |

Let me start by saying that these 6 months were a starting point for a long journey at Tunza Ecogeneration for me. I have always wanted to be a part of a community that I can meet people all over the world even though it was going to be through internet where we can talk about stuff that we all have common such as; environmental problems all over the world. I especially wanted the meeting point to be a serious topic so that I can actually see or read how people deal with their problems across the world so that I can understand them. Furthermore, to see what I am missing in my life and what I have to be thankful for that other people don¡¯t or cannot have. Tunza Ecogeneration is the platform that I can have all of these above. I actually heard Tunza from my big brother who was part of 13th and 14th Tunza Ecogeneration Program. At the time I couldn¡¯t join because my English level was not enough and I personally was not ready to be a part of a community where serious problems are being shared. The first two months were actually really challenging for me because all the reports I have read was making me feel like I cannot write a report that good. Therefore, I wanted to quit immediately. I might be sound like a drama queen but whole my life it was not easy for me to join a community easily even though I was not talking to people face to face or even on telephone. In conclusion, I would like to thank you all ambassadors and mentors who have accepted me and let me to be part of such a good and friendly environment. It is an honor for me to be part of Tunza Ecogeneration family. Umut Karadeniz |
