Short review about Tunza Eco-generation Ambassadors Program
Dear Tunza Ambassadors, this is my feedback about my ambassadorship from March till August. Actually when I first saw call for applicants I realized that this is my dream which definitely has to be fulfilled. At first I took part in Essay competition and I failed it, so it gave me motivation to improve some English writing skills and learn more about environmental issues. I started taking part in Clean Up Days, which absolutely changed my attitude to life in general : what to use, what to buy, ect. After that I decided to try myself in volunteering, so that now it became a huge part of my life.
Unfortunately, people from Ukraine did not know anything about this environmental organisation. They are not
even well informed about what is happening with nature around the world. That`s why I am so thankful for possibility to raise awareness around my country. During the ambassadorship I visited lots of civic centers, schools and companies with one aim : tell them all that there are people gathered under one name "Tunza Eco-generation" who take care about what`s going to happen in the future. To say that closing your eyes on every nature catastrophe is not solution of the problem and to prove that everyone can be better and can change something even when it seems to be impossible.
I would also like to say some good words to every single ambassador, who has was writing reports every month. Personally I learned a lot while I was reading your amazing and informative works. This program helped me to realize that I am not the one eager beaver who aims for sustainability in the world. Moreover, my participation was also helpful for deciding which profession to choose in the university. I hope that next time I would have an opportunity to be accepted again and enroll more people while being an ambassador, but now I should take a short break because of moving to another country. Thanks to mentors, participants and every person who was engaged in this important international project.
