At present context the major portion of the our production is being damaged by the insects I.e. small living arthropods. Insect relation with the crop or plants is as old as the first plant or crop establishment.

Pest is any organism which may negatively affect to man or his possessions. Thus, growth and expansion of pest is serious problem for the agriculture production.

Management is the manipulation of the insects and pest life cycle, their number, reducing their effects below the economic injury level. It may be arrangement by which the there is barrier for the growth and development of insect.

There are different methods of insect pest control like Physical, Mechanical, Cultural, Genitical, Chemical, Legal, biological etc. IPM is the method in which sustainability is the main priority to crop production and use of chemical is last option where biochemical is used. In this technique different methods of insects management is applied according to the need. Regular observation is maintained, there the only one method is not sufficient and suitable. Thus IPM is getting priority over other method and best method for sustainable agriculture.
