The world where we sustain is in dynamic form.Every day we are blessed or baned by the scientific inventions.No thing in this world is stationary.In moving from the stone age to modern era,different revolutions in agriculture including green revolution.The scientific benefits we are enjoying has come from the series of revolutions.Firstly,they used to hunt animals for food followed by using fire to slightly burn it in order to add flavour in it.Eventually,they culltivate crops now to meet their food requirement.The work in agriculture was performed manually which now has been transformed to mechanized agriculture which increases efficiency of both human and production along with productivity.Man is never satisfied for what they have.They are ambitious by nature so they make endeavour for bringing new contrives as they want to rejoice and enjoy the new and cozy benefits.People become more and more conscious and even more curious to know the reason and this strong consciousness leads to development of technology with scientific evidences. When we turn to history of robot,it was firstly used to denote fictional automata in the year 1921 play by R.U.R (Rossum's Universal Robots)by the Czech writer Karel Capeck.The play replaced the popular use of the word"automation"with the word "robot".The highly advanced countries like USA,China,Japan,UK,Germany, etc make use of advanced technology (Robotics)for carrying out their work.In addition to this, they make use of robotics in agriculture which ultimately increase the agricultural yield.It is deemed that when robotics are used in harvesting stage,we feel more worthy use of it.Timely performance of crucial,seasonal and time bound operations can be performed well.Social and psychological satisfaction is derived by the use of robotics.Similarly,the scientific storage,transportation and processing better time, place and form utilities can be obtained.Some of the examples of highly used robotics are fruit picking robot,sheep rearing robot chlorophyll detector,nutrient deficiency detector, and so on. Some of the robots used in agriculture are listed below: 1.Automated Harvesting System a)MIT Robot Gardener-Mobile robot able to maintain soil humidity and pick ripe fruits. b)cucumber Harvester-Detects ripe cucumber and pick out of them. 2.Automated weed control a)Hortibct-Ecofriendly and it can recognize and eliminate up to 25 different kind of weeds. b)Asterix project-Autonomous robot for automatic weed control in row crops c)AgBotII-It is designed to help farmer to take decision on use of herbicide,pesticide,fertilizer and watering.
