[Free Report] Communication's session on Tunza Eco-Generation at the University of Abomey-Calavi in Benin

by Desire HOUNGNIGBE | 30-08-2019 01:49

This report, my last release for the 22nd term of the ambassadorship program will be a small story.
I was planning to hold a conference on plastic bag's impact at the Catholic College of Azove, where I visited in may 2019, and I reported on the visit through the platform. Because of the holidays season, the priest Hermel TONATO, the headmaster of the college promised me to do it later. But we didn't make it finally because the time was too short and they did not start with the school's resume. Based on this, should I keep there without doing anything or any outreach activity before the end of the 22nd term?
I finally decided to hold a communication's session where I can talk about the Tunza Eco-Generation platform to young Beninese and encourage them to join. I organized this session because young people in my country don't know about the platform, and I am the only one Beninese for the 22nd term. It also seems like I am the first-ever Beninese joining the platform.
On 17th August 2019 at the Université d'Abomey-Calavi ( in English University of Abomey-Calavi), the most prominent university across Benin, I held a session on Tunza Eco-Generation. Through the session, I talked about what is Tunza Eco-Generation, how to join, and the benefits we have by joining. Throughout Questions & Answers, I appreciated the interest people who attended the session showed about Tunza Eco-Generation.
My wish is to see more young people from Benin join Tunza Eco-Generation platform for the coming terms. And I am at their disposal to facilitate their application process in case they need any help.
The session ended with networking where each participant received a leaflet, a post-it, a paper ruler, a pencil, and my business card to keep in touch with me.
