The theme of this year International Youth Day 2019 is Transforming Education. The theme of International Youth Day is 2018 was Safe Spaces for Youth and as Vice President of Youth Thinkers’ Society Lamjung I had organized “Panel Discussion on Safe Spaces for Youth”.

On the occasion of this year International Youth Day, I participated in Asian Agriculture Summit and Exhibition 2019 as Emcee of the event.and also conducted Afforestation Campaign in Lamjung District.

Participation in Asian Agriculture Summit and Exhibition

On the occassion of 20th International Day, International Youth Conference on Agriculture was organized by 4H Nepal. The Asian Agriculture Summit and Exhibition 2019 was organized with participation of 100 youths from 6 different countries to revitalize youth agro enterpreneurship in Asia. I am glad to be the emcee of the event.

The event focused on panel discussion with the experts, motivational session, networking, thematic discussion and paper presentation. Paper Presentation focused on the one of the agroecological and climate topic by Dr. Rishek Pandey. It was a great event for the celebration of the youth day to transform education for youth enterpreneurship and also promote TunzaEcoGeneration.

Afforestation Campaign:

Restoring the natural beauty where it belongs to. As Regional Ambassador to Asia in collaboration with YTS Lamjung, Afforestation program was successfully conducted as a part of International Youth Day week long celebration campaign on the occasion of the 20th International Youth Day at 10th August. Active participation of the energetic youth along with the coordinated support of several organizations made it possible for the event to occur.

More than 20 youths partcipated in the event with the participation of representative of various Youth Organization Rotartact Lamjunhg, YCT Lamjung, Youth for Sustainable Agriculture and many other.
