Tree Huggers is a book about how a girl named Andrea who fights for her tree to not be cut down. She meets others like her and specifically Jason who happens to also be fighting for the same cause. They immediately become friends and he lets her on his theory on how he avoids the trees from getting destroyed by doing the simple act of hugging the tree. He tells her that he avoided the cutting of his tree by hugging it whenever the people who come to demolish it come. This book is about her journey on how she saved a tree she had grown accustomed to and has had many memories with.
