 Culture, rites and rituals all of them are the identify of our civilization. We were born with the culture, live with culture and will die with the culture. We entangle ourself in rituals by every perspectives. Our culture includes festivals we celebrate. Among the many festivals one of them is "Rakshya Bandhan" tieing the holy thread of protection on brothers and sisters hand with a promise made to protect each other in every ups and down. In this festivals sisters pray for the longitivity and prosperous life of her brother. Sisters are provided with many gifts a lot of blessings and so on. But as an environment concerned person I celebrated this Rakshya Bandhan in different way. Although my brother is in abroad nation so in the rememberance of him, I planted a plant in a pot i.e BONSAI, exact mimic of tall plant in swallow container with a intention of providing clean air to surrounding and connecting environment and culture. I also made a resolution promise that I will plant a tree at everyone's birthday or any special occasions this day onwards. Thank you. Green cheers!!
