![]() I remember the day I received an email from TUNZA Eco-Generation congratulating me for getting picked to represent my country Ethiopia and work as an ambassador for the Eco-Generation program period, I remember feeling so excited and thrilled and that feeling has stayed with me throughout. I want to start by thanking TUNZA Eco-Generation for giving me the chance and for trusting me with such a crucial job. I want to thank my Mentor Louis for always reaching out and helping me with my reports and giving me warm feedbacks on all of my reports. Working as an Ambassador has been fun for the most part although, I have to admit that it was challenging at the beginning because representing a country is not a task to be taken lightly and I had no clue where to start or what to start with but the help of my mentor and the welcoming nature of the fellow Ambassadors made the job very enjoyable. There were times where I could not work on my reports deeply due to the busyness of my school life and studies but overall, it was an experience like no other. This program has taught me lots of things and also helped me gain experience in areas that have to do with the environment. It has changed me for the better and it has also made me aware of the state of other countries through the reports my fellow Ambassadors shared. There is not much else that compares to being able to make the world a better place one report at a time. And to be permitted to take part in a movement that is dedicated to changing the world is a dream come true. I will always feel grateful to have worked here, it was absolutely an honor so thank you once more Eco-Generation! |
