As trees grow, they help stop climate change by removing carbon dioxide from the air, storing carbon in the trees and soil, and releasing oxygen into the atmosphere. Also It has been estimated that an additional 200 gigatonnes of carbon could be sucked out of the air and locked into tree wood. Thisnumberrepresents two-thirds of historical man-made carbon emissions.
